Weapons of our warfare...

I have a couple of friends that I have been in contact with recently and both of these gals are going through some intense stuff.  One is dealing with a sick husband and the other with financial woes.  After speaking with both of them, God spoke to me this 'little nugget.'

2 Corinthians 10:4-5 says, "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;"

WOW!  The enemy will attack at every turn.  Will we fight him or will we use the weapons that our Lord has given us?!!  If our attitude is what it should be; if we are right with God; if we go to the Master...then what have we to fear?  The enemy has no hold on us.  God is the answer to every problem that may come our way.  Sick spouses...no match for the Living God.  Financial woes...no match for the Master!

The way of this world has gotten so out of hand.  The economical problems that we face as a nation and individually is overwhelming.  The sicknesses that abound in today's society are astronomical.  But where is our faith...where is our joy...Who holds the world in His hands? 

I am making 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 my prayer today!  I will win the war, even if Satan might win a battle or two...I WILL BE VICTORIOUS because of Jesus!
